I installed it but didn't work for me either. I checked its Updating Date and noticed it was in 2004. So I guess the creater should make a more recent update of this widget to make it be compatible with the latest Yahoo Widget Engine.

It works for me, just right click the widget in the dock, click hide widget, right click again, click show widget, and it should work.
