July 09, 2008 · version 0.9Great Widget That Works On Vista Windows Sidebar, But Not Yahoo's Widget Version For Vista!
I love this gadget! I have Vista and the Windows Sidebar version works great. However, I cannot get it to work on the Yahoo Widgets running Vista. I still use it, but I hate to run both Yahoo Widgets and Windows Sidebar at the same time. I hope they fix it so Vista users can use it running Yahoo Gadgets.

Works Great for Me, I always wondered where those other networks in the neighborhood were located.
Works great for me. I had to upgrade Yahoo! Widgets before I could install. It gives a great map of the wireless networks. For laptop users trying to 'sniff' out networks this would be great. And this June (2008) Starbucks will start to offer two hours of free WiFi. That will make it easier to get online when out of the house.

Does not work correctly for me
I am unable to make this widget work on my computer, using Windows Vista. It seems that many other people have this problem in the other comments for this widget. I tried the suggested solutions (installing the Calibri font & .NET 2.0 framework ), but it continues to say that i am "Disconnected"- it never once has worked correctly.
Xirrus correctly identifies the names of my Network Card, my IP Address and MAC Address, but cant detect that i am currently online- cant detect my SS… More
