It's a stock tracker with personal investment information.
Track personal capital gain on investments such as indicies, stocks and funds.
For example, specify the number of shares and the price at which each unit of share was bought. The Widget will indicate how much have been gained/lost. At the bottom, the total gain/loss is displayed.
The quote information is delayed up to 20 minutes and retrieved through the Yahoo! Finance API.
*note: update frequency option is available as "Widget Preferences...".

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 thang thi, i think this widget is great. i would like to request one feature. allow more than 1 price of the same stock. i have lots of different prices of stock for the company i work for, i would like to see all of my gains and losses for each set of stocks. thx.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 pdalbeyI just started to use this widget and have found it to be useful but with one very major downfall. Is there really no way to enter non-integer numbers for the number of shares owned? This is crucially important to me as all of my investments are in mutual funds and don't necessary have nice round numbers to deal with. How difficult could it be to accept real numbers rather than just simply integers.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 pissacreit seems that stockgain will not track certain stocks (such as vion, symbol vion). instead of finding the symbol itself, it is determined to find the company called Vion pharmeceuticals and show a german listing.
it also wasn't able to find numerous others that most stock widgets can, and that are readily listed by Yahoo.
is there a way to have the program look in alternative locations ?

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 David HAs I commented back in August, I can not open the widget. I tried again with the current download. I have not had this problem with the many other widgets I have. See my August comment for exact error and pc details. Apparently it works fine for many others, any suggestions for me on how to get it to open without the error coming up on my attempt to open the widget?

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 deathscythemonthe only thing i would like to see is the fact that you can separate the different stocks that are listed. I have a large list, so listing them all won't be able to fit my laptop screen. But I think it would be a nice feature to have if it's possible to put on.
