It's a stock tracker with personal investment information.
Track personal capital gain on investments such as indicies, stocks and funds.
For example, specify the number of shares and the price at which each unit of share was bought. The Widget will indicate how much have been gained/lost. At the bottom, the total gain/loss is displayed.
The quote information is delayed up to 20 minutes and retrieved through the Yahoo! Finance API.
*note: update frequency option is available as "Widget Preferences...".

I am trying to add a symbo; to my widget and it is not showing as a valid symbol. It is a company that was recently gone public on the market (for example PCS of DEEP). HOw often, if ever, do you update this?

My proposal for making it more helpful is to add the option for currency addition, like the widget stock ticker tape allowes (for example USDEUR=X or EURUSD=X)
Or does it go and I did not realize how ???

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 capnjim86Thanks, I really like it. I have an idea for you - maybe a more discreet widget for the desktop that is simply a globe or sphere, which changes color based on if a stock is going up or down?

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 martlet66I love this widget, it's almost perfect. Could I make the following suggestions?
1. Somehow change the layout so that the widget is smaller. Right now, each stock is twice the height of those in the Yahoo Stock Ticker (YST)
2. Color code each stock's day gain or loss, in addition to the total gain or loss.
3. Add a function to call up a web page with the stock's data when you click on the stock symbol, in the same way that YST does.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.03 sir 呂I like this tool so much. It is really a useful tool but I still have 2 problems when using it.
1. It cannot find the stock 1886.hk and so I cannot add it to the list.
2. The list is too long to be shown when too much stocks have been added.
