ScoobyThere is a workaround posted to be able to add quotes. Sort these reviews by "most helful" and it will appear in first position.

Rob MarquardtThe issue affecting both the Stock Ticker and Yahoo! Finance Widgets is with the symbol search service (not with the Widgets themselves, but unfortuately it prevents them from adding symbols).
A fix for the symbol search service is being looked into.

Yeah, it does suck
RoadfunThe weather widge will update fine but if I try to get quote updates or add my own quote this widget complains about proxy settings. What a joke :-(
