Agreed, the version served up from the widgets gallery still doesn't work with YW3.1 Thanks for adding the new feature, Christoph! Can't wait!

Christoph, I just tried to re-download and still the same problem. The comment in Yahoo says the last upload was March 31.

@Ben: OK The feature you're looking for will be included in version 1.9.2. After submit it will replace the search term with the name of the search engine you've chosen. It remains empty if you use a custom URL.

@Ben + Ray: Thank you very much! It was designed for every day use, and I'm glad that people really use it every day. Tip: If you check off large in the preferences it is as wide as the Yahoo Calendar. I've already uploaded version 1.9.1, which works with Yahoo 3.1.

Hallo Christoph, I too want to add my thanks for your widget, and I look forward to seeing it working again under 3.1 I would also like to add a small wishlist item: when you press enter to execute a search, it would be nice if the last search term was cleared (meaning the widget stays empty...)
