February 19, 2006 · version 1.5 Christoph Lenz@Daniel: You're right, the code changed with intent to fix the space character bug. And it's necessary that it remains how it is. I've never tested it with an URL, 'cause it's a search widget ;-).
But the next version will be able to identify the input as an URL if you type www. first. I've already uploaded it, should be online tomorrow or in a few days.

February 19, 2006 · version 1.5 DanielI use this widget without a search address or anything, simple to input a URL. Believe it or not, there are no half-decent URL widgets out there...
Anyways, something changed in the code since the last release, and it stuffs up when I put dots in. Say I type 'www.trademe.co.nz', and it'll send me to "www%2etrademe%2eco%2enz".
I left the Rating empty, but if it was fixed, I'd give it four stars
