Afterthought suggestion-- When my Notepade widget failed over the weekend, I tried a couple of alternative note-type widgets, and found this one to be somewhat adequate as a temporary alternative.

However, it is ONLY a "sticky "and does not integrate with Yahoo notes or do much of anything

I too join in supporting the complaint process, letting Yahoo know our appreciation of this otherwise well-crafted widget, and how we miss it now that it is broken.

Hey guys, my notepad stopped working too. You can still access the notes by signing into Yahoo Mail with your username/password, then clicking "notepad."

If they don't fix it I guess I'll have to find another program though...

Yeah, this was evidently tied to Yahoo Briefcase which shut down the same day as this stopped working. I didn't even WANT to have to log in but I can't find a notebook widget that saves this stuff just to my computer, and so I used this in spite of having to continually re-log in (even when there was a "keep this logged in" feature on the login).

So I didn't think anything of it when I got warning e-mails that Briefcase was closing because I didn't know I was even usi…ng it. They didn't bother telling me that's where my notes were actually stored. Now they're apparently lost.
