BobI sent a message to Yahoo Widget support that said, in essence "Why is this happening? For what possible purpose would you remove the DJI from a feed like this? What an insane decision!"
It appears to not be the fault of Yahoo or the widget. The response I received was:

Dow jones Industrial average is gon
BobThis new FORCED update takes away the DJI. I tried to "downgrade" to version 2.7.2 but after running, it forces you to either close the widget or update to 2.7.3 which doesn't have the DJI.
Really bad design. Who would want a stock ticker that doesn't show this index?

Do not download the update - and if you did, downgrade.
SPDowngrading to Version 2.7.2 DOES bring back the DJI. Just go to http://wareseeker.com/Windows-Widgets/yahoo-stock-ticker-2.7.2.zip/227122

Ridiculous - Bring ^DJI back
SPAbsolutely ludicrous. It even says Dow Jones Index is still available. Nice one, Yahoo.
