I downloaded this widget on May 3rd. Every day the word (durable) was the same. Even right now, a week later, it fails to update the word.

This program was not worth the time it took to download it. The words were repeated every week and they were anything but challenging. Words like "durable" and "inevitable". I was expecting so much more from Yahoo!. After trying it out for a month..I definitely deleted it.

cool. it would be helpful if it was like th m-w.com word of the day to use it in a sentence--can you add this?

I wish the background were a bit brighter; The defintion would be easier to see.

haven't used it yet (thus i can't rate it).
but i could image an added feature that would help us non-native speakers a lot: a "voice interface", i.e. an option the computer could read the word, thus giving an impression of the right pronounciation. just think of the difference between "inviteable" and "inevitable" - which may seem obvious for a nativespeaker, but pretty hard on us foreigners.
