Zipper

An animated utility for zipping and unzipping files. Drag files and/or folders onto the Widget and it will compress them into an intelligently named archive, or drop archive files and it will unzip them into folders.

Now supports the following file formats :-
Compression: ZIP, 7ZIP, TAR/GZIP and TAR/BZIP2.
Decompression: ZIP, 7ZIP, TAR/GZIP, TAR/BZIP2, Z, RAR, CAB, ARJ, LZH, CHM, HXS, CPIO, RPM and DEB, plus zipped Widgets and self-extracting executables.

I like it very much!

For some reason however, it's using 4 to 5 percent more CPU
on my laptop than the original ZIPIT.

I can't justify an update here.

Thanks for the compliments ;) Sadly, there is no "Widget of the Year" contest but perhaps you should suggest it to the developers at support [at] konfabulator [dot] com (the things we do to avoid SPAM these days!)

You're the first person to suggest dontating for one of my Widgets and I really appreciate the gesture ;) I have never really considered providing a means to accept donations for my Widgets since I write them for my own amusement and as such it doesn't really… More

What a superb Widget, one of my favorite ones !
I've been eagerly waiting for the 1.60 release, and wasn't disappointed. Very useful & well-conceived program.
