Sounds like it is not restoring the preferences correctly, I will look into it and post a new version when I get it fixed. There is probably nothing you are doing or can do to make it correct. Thanks for the feedback, I will take care of it.

wicked widget i love it...really usful....i just have 1 problem...everytime i start my computer or restart the widgets load up and zopomy anulus does not auto hide, i have to right click & go to properties and just press save & then after moving my cursor over the widget once & then it auto hides...do you know of this situation before and how do i solve this....seeing as its tetious going to properties everytime i start the computer...thanks...again an excellent widget

Hmm, Normally you can use the Remove Icon option and select the blank field in the list and it will go away. If you want, you can manually edit the file that stores the shortcut data with a text editor. On Windows boxes (WinXP, Win2k) the file is called anulus0.dat and is in the following directory: C:/Documents and Settings/Userid/Local Settings/Application Data/Yahoo/Widget Engine/Widget Data/ZoomyAnulus/anulus0.dat

A bit of a mouthfull, you could also search for the file anulus0.…dat. Edit it with any text editor (notepad, vim, etc) and remove the last line (which is just an extra carrage return.)

Restart zoomy and it should be gone. Let me know, it the next version I will have this fixed.

hi mark thanks for the reply....i changed the speed to 10 its still to fast to control easily if u could tweak it to go slower that would be great.....i also have tried on several occasions to remove that default aulus (0) missing text icon i have at the moment about 5 programs/shortcuts in place using this widget i can modify/remove all apart from this defualt one....please advise what else i could try...thanks aagain

In the preferences, you can modify the wheel speed, 10 is the slowest, if that is not slow enough I can add some capability to make it slower in the future.

The "Missing" icon is because you have deleted all icons, to remove it and a new shortcut and the use the "Remove Icon" option and remove the one that has a blank for the name. It will go away.

This version doesn't allow argument which is the best way to do My Computer. On some windows machines (win2k) i…f have created a shortcut to My Computer and drag and dropped the shortcut to the Annulus and it works fine.
