Zoomy Anulus

This is a ring version of the docks based on others code for rotations. It allows shortcuts and icons for launch and will also allow submenus.

this is one sweet looking widget....i kno you already know about the icon problem which worked great for me off the space dock for my application....this one however is a little sleeker and clean looking....i will however say that i took your advice to use the wheel on my mouse, but it is a little hard to select the widget....i wish that if i "mouse-over" the widget it could be selected so that i could scroll....instead i have to select a "dead" point on the widget to click o More

It looked great, but it confused me and once I figured it out, it suddenly froze and quit. :(

By far the best of your "zoomies" so far. I really like this one. Any chance the scrolling could be a little slower and smoother? It almost seems to jump to me, or skip. I noticed one thing that would make icon handling a lot easier to configure, which is the same with many of your zoomies, in that the menu for selecting an icon to modify could be a lot better if you put it all in one menu to add, change, and delete an icon from a drop down ina window. You could just put in as a tab in More

Remy G. - Thanks for the feedback. I understand the frustration with icons, but the Yahoo! widget engine has bugs on windows with using file icons. I may put it back and you can take your chances with it crashing the widget. I can allow modifications to the arrow movements and scroll wheel in next release (speed, icon count, etc.) Most of the issues with scroll wheel speed is in your mouse setup on the OS. If it is too "fast" you will get a number of icons. I will add a preference to adjust how fast the "widget" reacts to wheel counts. --- Mark

This is awesome. I really like the looks, and how it automatically creates the orb with the icon/jpg/gif/png of my choice. The only issue with this is it can't auto handle it based on the icon the exe I drop in uses, so I have to grab all of mine(download a bunch), make it proper(ie make all but base transparent) and put them in a central location, like the widget folder. I love it how it makes teh orb though, that is brilliant. I really like how it looks and works, the submenu idea was geni More
