Zoomy Anulus

by Mark Watkins

This is a ring version of the docks based on others code for rotations. It allows shortcuts and icons for launch and will also allow submenus.

    BadgeGuy or Moytora,
This is very interesting to me, there are discussions in the forums with issues related to launching programs, and I would like to understand it. Could either of you please download Zoomy Dock and/or Zoomy Space Dock and see if they behave the same way. My expectation is that they will, but I would like to know for sure and I can't get it to happen on any of my programs. Please post back to this discussion and I will see if I can resolve this issue.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Mark

I have the same problem as BadgeGuy´s second.
When I add the game.exe it tries to start but closes again, when I add the Windows link it does nothing. Opening the Windows link in the explorer works fine. What can I do?
With programms like Opera it works adding the .exe!

In all other cases nice work

    BadgeGuy,

    1. Use the mouse wheel as a middle button and click on it with that and it will gain focus and not launch.

    2. Make a windows shortcut with the appropriate info and drag and drop the shortcut to the zoomy anulus. This may work, sometimes windows doesn't resolve the paths well. I can try some tweaks to make it better.

    3. Sure, I had an add new icon, but removed it when added drag and drop. I can add it back in the next release.

Thanks for trying it and giving the feedback.
    Mark
